On March 26, Wang Xiaoping, Executive Director and General Manager of Shaanxi Sanhe Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited China National Water Resources and Electric Power Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd. (CWFC) for an exchange and discussion. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on areas such as corporate strategic cooperation and overseas project development.
At China National Water Resources and Electric Power Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd. (CWFC), Li Peifeng, General Manager of the Strategy and Operations Management Department, extended a warm welcome to Wang Xiaoping and his delegation. He introduced CWFC's development history and international business layout, pointing out that CWFC is one of the earliest state-owned enterprises in China's water conservancy and hydropower industry to participate in international economic cooperation. It has achieved remarkable success in international engineering contracting, technical consulting, and labor export, having completed over 800 various engineering contracting and economic assistance projects in more than 60 countries and regions. For many consecutive years, it has been awarded the "AAA Credit Rating for International Engineering Contracting Enterprises," with its brand influence and market competitiveness ranking among the top in the industry. Sanhe Company possesses a solid and stable operational foundation and excellent construction capabilities in the domestic market. Wang Xiaoping introduced Sanhe Company's basic situation, overseas development strategy, and professional advantages in domestic market development and the water conservancy sector, expressing hope to strengthen comprehensive cooperation with CWFC to jointly explore the international market. The two parties engaged in thorough discussions on market development, project cooperation, technical support, resource integration, and talent cultivation, reaching a preliminary cooperation intention.
In recent years, Sanhe Company has actively responded to General Secretary Xi Jinping's call for the "Belt and Road" initiative, strategically planning and expanding into overseas markets. By strengthening cooperation with leading central and state-owned enterprises such as CWFC, China Water Resources and Hydropower No. 3 Engineering Bureau, and Mechanical Survey and Design Institute, the company has rapidly opened up channels for overseas expansion. Through years of industrial accumulation, the company has integrated supply (service) chain systems across multiple specialties including finance, design consulting, materials, and equipment, solidifying its foundation for overseas ventures.
